Meet the Team

Aiden Melendez
FOUNDER
WRITER AND DIRECTOR
Aiden is the creator of Darkglass cinema and is currently the main writer and director for our projects. He is a recent graduate from University of Nevada, Reno. Graduating with a bachelors in English Creative Writing, and minoring in Cinema and Media Studies. He’s local to Reno, Nevada and has been a part of Reno’s film industry for over three years. Working for various production companies such as MadWife Productions, and even David Coverdale’s band Whitesnake.
His passion is in seeing the local industry grow and producing pieces of quality storytelling that pushes the boundaries of cinema.

Alex Breckenridge
HEAD AUDIO ENGINEER
MUSIC EDITOR
Alex is an audio engineer and session musician, specializing in audio capture and post production. Having received his bachelor and master’s degrees studying music at the University of Nevada, Reno, Alex has worked with many local artists in the Northern Nevada and California area, as well as working with national and international artists such as David Coverdale/Whitesnake and Doug Clifford of Creedence Clearwater Revival.
